Roadbase

Granite Based - This material can be used to fill a hole, stabilize some boggy ground, create a pathway and or driveway or prepare an area for a concrete slab or pavers. The mix binds perfectly, forming a rigid layer and providing a strong, stable base
The aggregates are typically crushed stone of various sizes, either natural or recycled, including coarse and fine aggregates. Ideal for civil construction and commercial development applications such as road and pavement base, pipe bedding, backfilling trenches and walls and drainage.

14 mm Blue Metal

14 mm Blue Metal’s main application is the aggregate in concrete. Used as a decorative gravel in garden beds or driveways. The 14mm can be used in concretes, bottom of garden pots or planters to help with drainage or even as cheap decorative mulch or paths within the garden.

Blue Crusher Dust

This material finely graded crushed blue stone. It can be compacted firm and used as a sub-base for a variety of applications including concrete slab preparation and a base for synthetic grass. This mix of small rock and fines means that when compacted, it binds together well and creates a strong, stable surface to work on. Ideal sub base for smaller size pavers, under concrete slabs and water tanks. Easily manageable it is excellent for driveways, paths and landscaping applications.

Blue Metal Ballast 40/70mm

Used as a decorative gravel or building a railway line. Can also be used as a large drainage gravel or gabion cage filler rock. Ballast must regularly be cleaned when dirt builds up within the rock it reduces its ability to properly drain water. Ballast also acts as a support base for the railroad track structure giving it strength and rigidity but also allowing for flexibility when trains pass over.

10mm Stone

This material is a clean rock for use in drainage applications, concrete mixes. Great as decorative stone and also used for core-filling flexible retaining wall blocks. (ie tasman) Used for drainage, filling or decorative purposes. It is often paired with pavers for a great aesthetic finish. These are natural products from the ground and their colouring may vary.

Drainage Gravel

This material is as the name suggest perfect for drainage most commonly used behind any of our retainer wall products. As it is a crushed concrete material, it can produce a small amount of dust during delivery and installation. It is recommended that drainage gravel or a decorative pebble is used in applications where the product will remain visible and a more desirable product is required.

Conmix

A ¾” round rock with fines that support how well it compacts. Used in concrete mixes. Mix with cement 5:1 to make concrete.

20mm Stone

This material is a clean rock for use in drainage applications, concrete mixes. It can also be used as a feature in any garden situation. 20mm stone can be used for decorative purposes in between pavers or for feature areas.

Autumn Gold

This product is used as decorative feature pebble in any garden situation. A lovely, golden angular aggregate, very popular and widely used in all resin bonded applications. Equally effective when used on its own or as part of a mix with other aggregates.
Provides a permeable surface, allowing rain water to naturally soak away & an excellent natural weed suppressant.

Kiewa Gold

This product is used as decorative feature pebble in any garden situation. A beautiful warm, golden gravel, perfect for paths, drives and groundcover. This beautiful stone is a professional finish with nice subtle variations of yellow and creams especially when laid on larger areas.

Deco Granite (Commonly referred as Buck Shot)

This material like road base can be used to fill a hole, stabilize some boggy ground, create a pathway and or driveway or prepare an area for a concrete slab or pavers. Deco or decomposed granite is finey crushed and a compactible type yellow/golden granite. Quite commonly used in areas where a firm surface is required but left exposed like driveways or pathways where a more visually appealing finished is required.

White Ice

White Ice pebbles give a yard its own unique ambiance. Brilliant white aggregate suitable as a decorative topping for gardens and as an accent around paving, topping planters pots, used in courtyard, pathways and drive ways. Does not compact. This product is used as decorative feature pebble in any garden situation.

Cowra Gold

Beautifuly smooth pebbles, mixed colours from a cream to yellow. The ideal colour to complement those sandstone walls. Not a great idea for paths and driveways as the pebbles move around a lot - but are great in gardens where the gold Cowra stone makes a striking contrast to plant foliage. This product is used as decorative feature pebble in any garden situation.

Grit

Grit is a hard, coarse-grained, siliceous sandstone, literally small pieces of gravel or rock. Mostly used for building materials. This material is commonly used by plumbers to bed in sewer lines and the like. It can also be used a decorative feature in any garden situation.

Large River Rocks

This material can be used as a main feature in your garden or in some cases the outline of a dry river bed edging. Can be used for garden edging, gabion baskets as well as a general ground cover. The varied colour palette ranging from browns & tans through to yellow & gold is adaptable to many garden settings.

Medium River Rocks

This material is the next size down from the large river rock, very popular with our customers. Can be used for garden edging, gabion baskets as well as a general ground cover. The varied colour palette ranging from browns & tans through to yellow & gold is adaptable to many garden settings.

Small River Rocks

This material is the smallest of our river rocks commonly mixed with the medium river for varying range of size. Can be used for garden edging, gabion baskets as well as a general ground cover. The varied colour palette ranging from browns & tans through to yellow & gold is adaptable to many garden settings.

Aztec Bronze

Great for elegant, low maintenance garden beds as well as entry walls, paths and walkways. They also make a beautiful addition to rockery gardens, water features and dry creek beds.

Bendigo Blend

Can be used as decorative feature in any garden situation and looks great.
